Out of about 650 books written by Osho, the most appreciated title among Osho’s followers has been The Books I Have Loved. In this book, Osho talks about Adi Shankaracharya, the first Shankaracharya, and his book Bhaj Govindam. This is a rare book on devotion, as the Adi Shankaracharya is very famous for his sharp logic and arguments in favour of the philosophy of Vedanta.

Freedom of love

It is really mysterious that each relationship begins with the freedom to love, but ends with the bondage of the relationship. Love comes like a strong breeze, carrying the lovers to unknown dimensions. Lovers go through peak experiences and then feel the need to settle down. But soon they start getting bored, craving the same peaks again. When this does not happen, they feel frustrated and fall into the ditch of misery.

Live, laugh, celebrate

There is a wonderful story about the Greek philosopher Socrates, who was always busy in dialogues and debates with people. He was a very rational human being, who would occasionally fly beyond the frontiers of mind and have some strange revelations. It happened one night, while awaiting his death in prison, he was haunted by a dream that kept urging him, “Socrates, make music!” The philosopher thought that he had always served art with his philosophising. But now, spurred on by that mysterious voice, he turned fables into verse, indicted a hymn to Apollo, and played the flute.
